Leveling weapons is the slowest it’s been compared to the last few games. You will stand almost no chance in winning a 1-on-1 gunfight with an enemy while using a base weapon. Most of the base weapons simply can’t compete with fully modded weapons, given how powerful some attachments are. The only ‘sniper’ thats actually viable is the DMR that can be turned into one-shot kill machine with attachments. Snipers basically don’t exist in Vanguard given how fast the TTK is. This combined with cover being penetrable means it doesn’t matter if you get into cover, you’ll still die.

The game gives you free wallhacks, a perk that you can apply to every gun that highlights enemies. Almost everything can be shot through, meaning you’re never safe behind cover If you’ve played that game you know how bad it is, constantly spawning beside or behind enemies The spawn system is taken straight from MW2019. Vanguard has several gameplay design flaws that make it a worse game IMO I'm getting the sense Vanguard was so disappointing that we'll still have a good chunk of popularity on Cold War for the foreseeable future. I'm a bit weary that Cold War might drop off (especially because it seems like Activision really wants you to play Vanguard, since it seems most add-ons are "Vanguard | Wazone Exclusive" now?) but at the same time. I basically figured I had a better chance of getting some opinions by posting on this subreddit and, given that cold war is the "older" game, I might see some people's personal arguments for why they are sticking to cold war instead of going to vanguard.Īnyway, good to know re: queue times. also, it has way less users (but hey, it's newer so. it almost seems to be biased against vanguard from the get go, as opposed to pro-vanguard. the popular posts on here seem to be mostly positive and just gameplay sharing. Now see, I considered the possible bias issue, but.
